This was a crazy little production for sure. I definitely have to give a shout-out to my Utah crew for a job well done! Here are just a few of the props used in the actual shoot: full size Honda, car lift, 2 car engines, a bucket of medicine, over 50 x-rays, another full bucket of hospital bracelets, the coolest garage EVER, (thanks Doug), several gallons of water, a bottle of anti-freeze, iPod, dozens of collectors bottles of Mountain Dew, 2 twelve packs of soda, and lots of lights... Enjoy!

Hi again Brian!
This is the third time im checking this one out now and im really impressed by the result! Good job as always!
Just wondering about some things..
Did you use the same lens for the background as you shot the guy with?
And did you keep the tripod and ca,era on the same spot through the whole session??
Keep it up!

Steve, I hate limitations, and in the "real world" there are many, especially in photography. I want to be able to do whatever I dream up, and so, I use many separate components in my images. In short the final image of Nate is made up of almost 4 separate photos, that -in reality- would have been physically impossible to shoot together. With my extensive background and abilities with traditional art I am able to create these images.

Enik, I used the tilt shift lens (pictured), for the backdrop, combining 3 sections of a 3 part shift, and shot Nate with my 50mm 1.2 prime. Using the tilt shift lens requires that you securely position the camera/lens on a tripod to ensure an accurate shift sequence. Again, as with my answer to Steve, this shot is literally impossible "in camera", as it required separate lighting for the x-rays, garage floor, car, windows, and the detailed background of the garage. It also would have been impossible to get the look I wanted with Nate with the 24mm tilt shift. Hope this helped guys... and great questions!
